Terms for using ChatHalls

Last updated: October 7, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of ChatHalls. By using ChatHalls, creating an account, or submitting content, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines.

You must be 18 or older

ChatHalls is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. By using the service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Accounts

Some features require a registered account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity performed through your account.

You may not impersonate another person, falsely represent your identity, attempt to obtain unauthorized access, or use another person's account without permission.

Anonymous posting

ChatHalls may allow visitors to submit posts without creating an account. Anonymous posting does not exempt content from these Terms or the Community Guidelines.

We may use reasonable technical safeguards to prevent anonymous posting from being used for spam, harassment, automation, or other abuse.

Your content

You retain ownership of content that you create and submit to ChatHalls, subject to any rights belonging to others.

By submitting content, you give ChatHalls a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote, and improve the service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit the content and that doing so does not violate the rights of another person.

Prohibited behavior

You may not use ChatHalls to engage in conduct prohibited by the Community Guidelines, including threats, hateful conduct, targeted harassment, sexual or explicit material, illegal content, spam, or disclosure of another person's private information.

You may also not attempt to bypass security controls, interfere with the service, scrape or automate access in a harmful manner, manipulate platform metrics, or exploit vulnerabilities.

Moderation

ChatHalls may review, filter, reject, restrict, remove, or otherwise moderate content when we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, the Community Guidelines, applicable law, or platform-safety requirements.

Automated systems may assist with moderation. Moderation decisions are not guaranteed to be error-free.

Account restrictions

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to features or accounts when reasonably necessary to protect the service, users, or the public, or when these Terms or Community Guidelines are violated.

Service availability

We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or change features of ChatHalls at any time. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Third-party services

ChatHalls may rely on third-party providers for hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, advertising, and other infrastructure. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Advertising

ChatHalls may display advertisements or sponsored content. Advertising does not give advertisers control over moderation decisions or ownership of user content.

Disclaimer

ChatHalls is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law. User posts represent the views of their respective authors and are not necessarily endorsed by ChatHalls.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ChatHalls will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of the service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. The current version and its effective date will be posted on this page.
